Manaslu word come from sankrit word “manasa” which means “Mountain of the spirit”. Manaslu (8163m) is 8th highest mountain in the world above sea level lies in Gorkha District. After driving 126 km (80mile) away from Kathmandu, famous Manaslu trekking region begin. Trail begin from lowest elevation of 700m (Macha Khola) to highest elevation point 5106m ( Larkye pass) following Budhi Gandaki River. Rocky remote landscapes make this trail considered as moderately difficult trekking in Nepal which makes this trail the best trekking destination for adventure loving trekkers. The famous trekking route are Manaslu Circuit Trek. and Tsum Valley Trek.
